Wednesday evening, May 7th, we went to the 9:30 Club in DC NW to see Apocalyptica, a Finnish heavy metal band that jams out, rocks out, and thrashes away on four cellos and a drum. We were among the last to arrive with the music starting. I could tell it'd be a good show by watching the lead cellists play. This was my first time seeing Apocalyptica. I originally found them on Myspace. Most assuredly it was a great show! It is hard to find the right words to describe how amazing it was!
